Description

A vibrant summer salad blending ripe peaches, tart berries, and fragrant basil with honey and lime. Naturally sweet and refreshing, it’s perfect for gatherings or a light dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

4 large ripe yellow peaches (cut into 1-inch wedges)
1 cup blackberries (fresh or frozen)
¾ cup blueberries (wild or regular)
1 medium pomegranate (seeds used)
6 large basil leaves (or thyme/mint)
12 teaspoons honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
½ lime (juice of)

Instructions

Wash peaches, pat dry, and slice into wedges (remove pits)
Combine peaches, blackberries, blueberries, and pomegranate seeds in a bowl
Tear basil leaves into ribbons and sprinkle over the fruit
Drizzle with honey and lime juice. Toss gently with tongs
Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before serving

Notes

Use 1:2 peach-to-berries ratio for texture balance
Stone-ripe peaches prevent sogginess
Chill the mixing bowl in the freezer for 5 minutes to enhance aroma
Store leftover pomegranate seeds in water cubes in the freezer
Adjust honey to taste depending on fruit sweetness
