Ingredients
Salmon filets, 4 (6 oz each) with skin
Kosher salt, 1/2 tsp
Black pepper, 1/2 tsp
Smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp
Blackening seasoning, 1/4 tsp (optional)
Unsalted butter, 3 Tbsp
Olive oil, 2 tsp
Garlic, 6 cloves
Honey, 1/2 cup
Water, 3 Tbsp
Soy sauce, 3 Tbsp
Sriracha, 1 Tbsp
Lemon juice, 2 Tbsp
Parsley, garnish (optional)
Instructions
Pat salmon dry with paper towels
Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and blackening seasoning
Set salmon at room temperature for 5 minutes
In oven-safe skillet, combine butter, olive oil, and softened garlic
Place skillet on stove over medium heat
Stir in honey, water, soy sauce, sriracha, and lemon juice
Simmer for 1 minute to blend flavors
Place skillet on broiler rack 4-6″ from heat source
Broil salmon (skin side down) for 8-10 minutes until glaze caramelizes and salmon is cooked through
Garnish with parsley before serving
