Description

A vibrant, layered frozen drink combining tart lemonade, tangy blue sports drink, and sweet strawberries. This three-textured slush is a refreshing summer treat with a visually appealing gradient and balanced citrus-sweet flavors.

Ingredients

Scale

12 cups ice, divided
1 cup blue sports drink (low-sugar preferred)
1 cup lemonade (fresh or store-bought)
10 oz frozen strawberries, thawed
1 tbsp lime juice (optional)

Instructions

Place 4 cups ice and blue sports drink in a blender.
Blend until smooth and slushy (~1 minute).
Distribute blue slush into 4 glasses. Freeze while preparing next layer.
Clean blender; add 4 cups ice and lemonade. Blend until thick (~30-45 seconds).
Pour lemonade slush over frozen blue layers in each glass. Freeze 10 minutes.
Clean blender; add remaining 4 cups ice, thawed strawberries, and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
Spoon strawberry slush on top of frozen layers. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best layering, freeze blue and lemonade layers before adding strawberry topping.
Cherries or raspberries may be added to the strawberry layer for extra color.
Use a high-speed blender to ensure smooth textures.
