Description
Tender, flavorful chicken drumsticks with a spice blend and sugar-free BBQ glaze, baked to a juicy, caramelized finish. Perfect oven-baked results with a crispy crust, no grilling required.
Ingredients
4 lbs (about 12 pieces) chicken drumsticks
2 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup sugar-free BBQ glaze
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and add a wire rack.
In a bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Pat chicken drumsticks dry, then toss in spice blend to coat evenly.
Place drumsticks on the wire rack. Drizzle with vegetable oil and rub to distribute.
Bake for 40 minutes, turning halfway through.
Brush half of the BBQ glaze over the drumsticks, then bake for another 20 minutes.
Increase oven to broil (high). Brush the remaining glaze and bake for 5 minutes until glaze is bubbly and golden.
Transfer to a wire rack to rest before serving.
