Ingredients
1 (12-oz) can refrigerated biscuits (such as Grands Jr 10 count)
1 (21-oz) can apple pie filling
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 Tbsp whole milk
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350ºF.
Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine the apple pie filling, cinnamon, and butterscotch chips.
Chop the large apple slices from the filling into smaller, bite-sized pieces.
Cut each refrigerated biscuit into four equal pieces.
Stir the biscuit quarters directly into the apple mixture until evenly coated.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm apple pie bubbles before serving.
Notes
Ensure the biscuit pieces are fully incorporated into the fruit mixture to prevent them from drying out. You can substitute butterscotch chips with caramel bits for a slightly different flavor profile. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat in the microwave or oven.
