Ingredients
2 Large fresh apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
1/4 Cup nut butter or non-alcoholic caramel sauce
1/4 Cup mini chocolate chips
2 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
2 Tbsp dried cranberries
1/4 Cup toffee bits (optional)
Instructions
Slice the apples thinly into uniform wedges.
Arrange the apple slices in a flat, overlapping circular layer on a large dinner plate.
Warm the nut butter or caramel sauce in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds until drizzling consistency.
Transfer sauce to a small bag, snip a corner, and pipe evenly over the apple slices.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, and toffee bits over the top.
Serve immediately while crisp.
Notes
Use a lemon juice wash on apple slices if you need to keep them from browning for a short time. Ensure your caramel sauce is non-alcoholic by checking the label. Feel free to substitute nut butter with sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version.
