Ingredients
9 ounces brewed black tea, chilled
3 ounces pure apple juice
1 cup ice cubes
2–3 thin Honeycrisp apple slices
1 lemon wheel
1 fresh mint sprig
Instructions
Brew a strong cup of black tea and allow it to reach room temperature.
Place the tea in the refrigerator to chill for at least two hours.
Fill a tall highball glass with fresh ice cubes.
Pour the chilled black tea over the ice.
Add the pure apple juice to the glass.
Stir gently with a long spoon to combine.
Garnish with apple slices, a lemon wheel, and a fresh sprig of mint.
Notes
Use freshly filtered water to avoid any metallic aftertaste interfering with the flavor. Chilling your glassware in the freezer for 10 minutes beforehand will keep the drink colder for longer.
