Description
Air fryer glazed chicken thighs with a balanced sweet-heat glaze using chili crisp and honey. Juicy, tender meat with a golden crust, ready in 20 minutes.
Ingredients
Boneless, skinless chicken thighs (4 pieces)
Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
Garlic powder (to taste)
Paprika (to taste)
Chili powder (to taste)
Sea salt and black pepper (to taste)
Chili crisp (8–12 teaspoons)
Honey (2–3 tablespoons)
Instructions
Place chicken thighs on a plate. Brush both sides with olive oil. Season with garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
Spoon 1 to 1½ teaspoons of chili crisp onto one side of each thigh, spreading evenly. Repeat on the other side.
Preheat air fryer to 380°F. Place chicken in a single layer in the basket. Drizzle with honey.
Cook for 15 minutes at 380°F until internal temperature reaches 165°F and the glaze is sticky.
Notes
Use avocado or grapeseed oil if preferred.
Skin-on thighs work too; add 2–3 minutes to cooking time.
Chili crisp can be substituted with homemade chili garlic sauce or sambal.
Honey can be replaced with maple syrup or agave.
