Description

Ingredients
1 pound chicken tenderloins
2 teaspoons honey
4 teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon minced garlic
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 large eggs, beaten
2 cups panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
Pat chicken tenders dry with paper towels
Sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper
Beat eggs in a shallow bowl until frothy
Place panko breadcrumbs in a second shallow bowl
Dip each chicken tender in egg, then press into panko for full coverage
Place coated tenders on a plate
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C)
Add tenders to air fryer basket in a single layer
Cook for 6 minutes, then flip
Add 2-3 more minutes until golden and crispy
Meanwhile, mix honey, soy sauce, and garlic in a small bowl
Brush glaze over hot tenders before serving
Notes
Use tamari instead of soy sauce for gluten-free
Substitute sliced chicken breast if tenderloins are unavailable
The glaze is best applied immediately after cooking to maintain crispiness
