This vibrant mango sorbet is a simple, no-churn frozen dessert that combines ripe mangoes and honey for a sweet, tropical treat. Ideal for summer, it captures the essence of fresh mango with a creamy, smooth texture and requires no special equipment.
Ingredients
3 ripe mangoes, peeled and flesh removed from the pit
3 tablespoons honey, adjust to taste
1 (1.5-inch) piece of lime, juiced (optional for vegan substitution: agave syrup)
Instructions
Peel the mangoes and remove the flesh, then chop into chunks
Spread mango chunks on a parchment-lined baking tray and freeze for 4-6 hours
Transfer frozen mango to a food processor with honey and blend until smooth, scraping down sides as needed
Enjoy immediately or freeze for 1-2 hours for a firmer texture
Notes
Use very ripe mangoes for enhanced sweetness and easier blending
Freeze in a single layer to prevent clumping
Add lime juice for a bright, tropical flavor
Blend in batches if food processor is overfilled
Raw honey will help achieve a smoother texture
