Description

This creamy and colorful Pink Hot Chocolate is the perfect festive drink for Valentine’s Day, winter gatherings, or pink-themed parties. Made with real white chocolate, whole milk, and a splash of food coloring, it’s both delicious and fun. Serve it with whipped cream and sprinkles for a magical touch everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz. can evaporated milk: adds richness and body
  • 12 oz. white chocolate chips: creates a creamy, sweet base
  • 2 cups half and half: enhances the creamy texture
  • 2 cups whole milk: balances the richness
  • Few drops red food coloring: gives the signature pink color
  • Whipped cream: light and airy topping
  • Sprinkles or mini marshmallows: adds a festive finish

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the white chocolate chips with the evaporated milk. Stir continuously until smooth.
  2. Add the whole milk and half and half, whisking to combine and ensure a silky consistency.
  3. Heat the mixture gently over low-medium heat, stirring every couple of minutes. Do not boil.
  4. Add red food coloring one drop at a time until the desired pink hue is reached.
  5. Remove from heat or reduce to a simmer to keep warm until serving.
  6. Pour into mugs or jars and top with whipped cream, marshmallows, and sprinkles as desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute 2% milk, but it will be less creamy.
  • White chocolate bars can be used in place of chips; just chop them finely.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat gently.
  • Try natural coloring alternatives like beet powder or raspberry juice.
