Description
Layer creamy banana pudding, fresh whipped cream, and bananas with mini Nilla wafers in clear cups for a refreshing dessert. Chilled for optimal texture, these cups are easy to customize and perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
1 box (4.6 oz) banana pudding mix (not instant)
2 cups milk (follow package directions for pudding mix)
1 pint heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
3 bananas, thinly sliced
1 box mini Nilla wafers
2 tablespoons wafer crumbs for garnish
Instructions
Prepare banana pudding according to package instructions, using 2 cups milk. Chill for 4 hours.
Whip heavy cream with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. Gently stir in powdered sugar.
Fold whipped cream into half of the prepared banana pudding.
Layer each clear cup with 1/3 of the pudding mixture. Add 5 mini wafers and 5 banana slices. Top with remaining pudding.
Cover cups and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, up to 24 hours.
Before serving, garnish with wafer crumbs, additional banana slices, and a standing wafer.
Notes
Use barely ripe bananas for firm slices.
Allow pudding to chill fully for a smooth texture.
Clear cups enhance the visual appeal of layered textures.
Substitute Nilla wafers with vanilla-wafers or gluten-free alternatives if needed.
