Description

This creamy Peanut Butter Fudge recipe is a quick and easy dessert that melts in your mouth. Made with simple pantry ingredients, it’s the perfect sweet treat for holidays, gifts, or any time you crave a classic, nutty indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups confectioners’ sugar (powdered sugar)
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, milk, and butter. Stir until the mixture comes to a rolling boil.
  3. Boil for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, then remove from heat.
  4. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth and fully combined.
  5. Quickly add confectioners’ sugar and mix until the fudge thickens and loses its gloss.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Allow to cool at room temperature for 2 hours or refrigerate for 1 hour before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For best results, use creamy, no-stir peanut butter.
  • Do not overcook the sugar mixture or the fudge may become grainy.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
  • Add a swirl of melted chocolate or chopped nuts for variation.
