  • Yield: 6 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole is the ultimate comfort food with layers of tender cheese ravioli, hearty beef sauce, and a creamy cheese blend baked to golden perfection. This easy, crowd-pleasing casserole is perfect for busy weeknights or special family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 25 ounce package frozen cheese ravioli – tender pasta filled with cheesy goodness
  • 1 pound ground beef – adds savory, hearty flavor
  • 28 ounce jar marinara sauce – rich tomato base for the casserole
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened – creamy, tangy layer
  • 1 cup sour cream – adds smoothness and extra creaminess
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese – nutty, salty flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder – enhances savory taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning – classic Italian herb blend
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt – brings out the flavors
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese, divided – melts into a golden, bubbly topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess grease and stir in marinara sauce. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, half the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt until well combined. Fold in the frozen cheese ravioli.
  4. Spread half of the creamy ravioli mixture into the baking dish. Top with half the meat sauce and a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli mixture, meat sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  7. Let the casserole rest for at least 10 minutes before serving to allow the layers to set.

Notes

  • Thaw frozen ravioli before using for best texture.
  • Freshly grated cheese melts better than pre-shredded.
  • Casserole can be assembled ahead and refrigerated up to 24 hours before baking.
  • For a vegetarian version, use meatless crumbles or sautéed mushrooms.
  • Freeze leftovers for up to 2 months and reheat in the oven.
