Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking sheet.

- Combine the dry ingredients with the butter mixture using a rubber spatula until fully incorporated.
- Divide dough into three portions. Place each between two sheets of wax paper, flatten slightly, and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.
- Roll dough to about 1/8 inch thickness. Cut out 1 1/2-inch stars for bases and smaller stars from half of them for tops.
- Arrange cookies on a greased baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- Cool cookies slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
- Warm raspberry jam in a small saucepan until just simmering, then cool slightly.
- Spoon a small amount of jam onto each base cookie, top with a cut-out star cookie, and dust with powdered sugar.
