  • Yield: 1 (9-inch) pie, about 8 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

This Nutter Butter Pie is a rich, creamy, no-bake dessert that combines crushed Nutter Butter cookies with a luscious peanut butter filling and whipped topping. Perfect for peanut butter lovers, it’s an easy recipe that delivers bakery-level flavor and texture without the need for baking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (16 oz) package Nutter Butter cookies – crushed, with 1/4 cup reserved for topping
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter – melted, for binding the crust
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese – softened, adds creamy texture
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter – the main flavor base
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar – for sweetness
  • 1 cup Cool Whip – folded into the filling for lightness
  • Additional Cool Whip – for topping the pie
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter – melted for drizzle topping

Instructions

  1. Crush one 16-ounce package of Nutter Butter cookies in a food processor. Reserve 1/4 cup of crumbs for topping.
  2. Mix the remaining crushed cookies with melted butter until combined. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust. Chill while preparing the filling.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese, creamy peanut butter, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Fold in 1 cup of Cool Whip until the filling becomes light and airy.
  5. Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly into the prepared crust.
  6. Top with a layer of Cool Whip and smooth it out with a spatula.
  7. Warm 1/4 cup of peanut butter in the microwave and drizzle over the top in a crosshatch pattern.
  8. Sprinkle the reserved cookie crumbs around the edges or across the surface of the pie.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight before serving to allow the pie to set properly.

Notes

  • Use creamy peanut butter only; natural or crunchy varieties may separate and affect texture.
  • Chilling the pie overnight gives the best consistency.
  • Press the crust firmly to prevent crumbling when slicing.
  • Pie can be frozen for up to 1 month; thaw overnight before serving.
  • Add a drizzle of chocolate syrup or crushed peanuts for extra flair.
