This Chicken and Stuffing Casserole is a creamy, comforting, and family-friendly dish made with tender chicken, savory stuffing, and a rich, flavorful sauce. Perfect for busy weeknights or cozy family dinners, it’s a one-pan meal that delivers hearty flavor with minimal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken tenderloins – cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt – for seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper – adds mild spice and depth
  • 10.5 oz can cream of celery soup – adds flavor and creaminess
  • 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup – enhances savory taste
  • 1/4 cup milk – provides smooth and creamy texture
  • 6 oz box Stove Top chicken stuffing mix – classic seasoned topping
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth – moistens stuffing and forms gravy
  • Fresh or dried parsley (optional) – for garnish and freshness

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray an 11×7-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. Cut chicken tenderloins into bite-sized pieces. Arrange evenly in the baking dish. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together cream of celery soup, cream of chicken soup, and milk until smooth.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and spread it evenly to cover all pieces.
  5. Sprinkle the stuffing mix evenly on top of the chicken mixture.
  6. Pour chicken broth evenly over the stuffing to moisten it thoroughly.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 40–45 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the top is lightly browned and crisp.
  9. Check internal chicken temperature (should reach 165°F). Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
  10. Scoop some of the creamy gravy from the bottom of the dish to drizzle over servings.

Notes

  • Use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs if you prefer.
  • For a fluffier topping, prepare stuffing according to package directions and skip the extra broth.
  • Add mixed vegetables for extra nutrition and color.
  • Use low-sodium soups and broth for a lighter version.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for 3 months.
