Instructions
- Wash the carrots and apple thoroughly. Peel if desired, then chop into small pieces for easier blending or juicing.
- Peel and slice the fresh ginger. Adjust the quantity based on your preferred spice level.
- Add carrots, apple, ginger, lemon juice, and water to a high-speed blender. Blend until completely smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a bowl, pressing to extract all the juice. Skip straining if you prefer more fiber.
- Taste and adjust sweetness with honey if needed. Stir well and serve immediately over ice or chilled.
Notes
- Use sweet apples to avoid adding extra sweetener.
- For a stronger detox flavor, add a small piece of turmeric root.
- Store in an airtight glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
