  • 3 to 4 lb fully cooked ham (spiral-cut or boneless)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice or orange juice
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C) to ensure even cooking and caramelization.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, and juice. Stir until the glaze thickens slightly.
  3. If using a whole ham, score the surface lightly in a diamond pattern to help the glaze soak in.
  4. Brush half of the glaze over the ham, coating evenly. Reserve the rest for basting later.
  5. Place the ham in the air fryer basket, cut side down if spiral-cut, and cook for 10–15 minutes.
  6. Brush the remaining glaze over the ham and cook for another 5–10 minutes until the glaze bubbles and caramelizes.
  7. Check that the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C). Let the ham rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  8. Slice and serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • For a healthier glaze, substitute brown sugar with monk fruit or erythritol.
  • Use foil to prevent burning during the first half of cooking, then remove for the glaze to caramelize.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
