  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, divided

  • Butter or cooking spray for greasing the air fryer basket

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice each bread slice into 3 or 4 vertical sticks.
  3. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon with 2 teaspoons sugar and set aside.
  4. In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and the remaining 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon until smooth.
  5. Dip each bread stick into the egg mixture for about 15 seconds per side, allowing excess to drip off.
  6. Lightly grease the preheated air fryer basket with butter or cooking spray.
  7. Arrange the soaked sticks in a single layer in the basket without touching each other.
  8. Cook for 3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2–3 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  9. Remove from the air fryer, sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture, and serve warm with syrup or your favorite toppings.
